Which isn't to say there aren't genuinely spooky areas and scary moments. There are ominous, off-screen sounds when you get close to one of Core Keeper's bosses. Breaking through a wall and suddenly seeing you're at the edge of a massive chasm is alarming, and building a narrow bridge across it doesn't feel comfy at all (even though you can't actually fall in).

Create a totally unique base using a variety of different materials and customisations. From the ultimate adventurer’s lair to a cozy underground cottage, shape the underground your way.

Mana: Your reserve of energy for casting magic. Mana recharges fairly quickly, but some magical weapons can use a hefty amount of Mana for a single attack.
Spirit Merchant (technically traded). Each of these marks the exact location of an outer biome boss spawn. Each scanner recipe uses a resource unique to the boss's biome. Either found on the ground or as a mob drop.
It doesn’t get too bogged down with resources or recipes, and the farming/food situation is easy to handle. You also don’t have to worry about nagging Core Keeper Gameplay in-game days or schedules. And there are pelo NPCs to fret over yet (just a couple of merchants). The main draw is exploration — that’s the strongest aspect so far.
Once you find Glurch, you'll want to try to clean up the area near this massive monster. Pick up any slime tiles on the ground and kill any enemies in the area. Then, move in toward Glurch and start dealing damage.
You’ll come across plenty of naturally occurring food, but it’s not nearly as effective as the health boost and extra perks you can get from learning to cook.
